Title: 128mb Ram On Cxxx
Post by: vajanchenko on July 10, 2006, 05:37:14 am
I have a C860 upgraded with 128Mb RAM total. What can i do for take it working in OZ? For Cacko and PdaxRom I have patch on 2.4.18(2.4.20) kernel and I can build custon kernel with support 128Mb RAM enabled. What's there?

PS. Sorry for my ugly english.

Under 2.6, in arch/arm/mach-pxa/corgi.c, the memory value is hardcoded in the fixup routine. You'll need to adjust that. Passing mem=128MB on the commandline might also work but I can't remember which option overrides which.

You can't really do that in altboot, you'll have to compile a kernel with the proper cmdline set. (or abuse kexec)

maybe asked somebody on the IRC channel #openzaurus, maybe you'll find a nice guy which will build a custom 2.6 kernel for your device...
