Im in a parking lot in yorba linda for the past 2 hours running bluez and to my cellphone accessing the net. Listening to talkradio over the bluetooth connection and shoutcast, msn gaiming to my girlfriend, typing here......and almost reaching 3 hours. waiting for my cousins interview to be over.
Its amazing how the zaurus can entertain me, keep me company, be informative all in one little device...and you cant beat the battery life.
so cool.

I have one complaint about the new Z's...I can't see the bloody screen when sitting in my car...too much reflection. How do you do it?
I was at the beach yesterday and used to be able to read an ebook on the beach with my SL5500, but was totally unable to see the screen on my C1000 so it was unusable. :-(
I can't even use Zroadmap in the car anymore because of the reflection...very annoying. Unless they change the screen I will NOT be buying another Zaurus.
JMHO

sandpaper should fix that reflection issue right up

It was dark. and i wa sin the car. Even during daylight, being in the car works fine for me. The sl-5500 is good for beach but battery life is like......dont even bother with it.

You're right about the battery life. The newer Zaurii excel in battery life but I just can't see the screen in my car or outdoors at all. And the screen is too bright when you are inside. The lowest setting for screen brightness is still too bright.
Well, now they are making the newer laptops with that same sucky reflective screen so, apparently, SOMEBODY likes it. :-)

tom and cresho, the 5500 has a reflective LCD screen while the c3200 has a transflective screen.
The c1000 (which I have as well) has a normal tft LCD.
Meaning, 5500 and c3200 can be read in direct sunlight, while c1000 will be tough (or unreadable) in direct sunlight.

actually the 6000 is transflective and the clamshells are transmissive.
The 6000 has better battery life than the 5500 and the better display than either the clamshells or 5500, but has a few disadvantages that make it less than perfect in other ways for me.
