Hello,
I've been thinking of installing pdaXrom again for various reasons.
On thing that's stopping me is my PIM needs.
I loved Kopi but found it too slow and it took a lot of tinkering too get the alarms to work.
How are the GPE PIM apps under pdaXrom? Do alarms work properly and consistanly?
Are there alternatives to kopi and gpe that people would recommend?
This one, called sked, sounds interesting:

I may try it on my PC.

GPE apps are much faster and alarms are 100% reliable (in a working implentation - one or two versions are broken, hopefully Xromer's current feed only contains working versions), because it uses atd, which you will also need. There are some slight issues with the volume of alarms though, and quite a few different packages to install.
Having said that though, with everything installed it should work out of the box, and GPE is certainly a good substitute if you are looking for faster and more reliable. A lot simpler too, which may be good or bad for you.

Ya. I've been using the GPE PIM apps in OZ and love them.
Thanks for the quick reply.
XRomer... Do you have anything to add?
