Title: Dead Wifi Or User Error?
Post by: Fushnchupsh on July 30, 2006, 09:42:20 am
Hey all.
I am running pdaxrom beta3 on a c3200.  I have the blue socket spectrum24 wifi card.  I installed the drivers mentioned in past threads.  I had the card working on previous instllations of beta3 then I had a brief stint with beta4.  I then did a fresh install of beta3, untarred the drivers and now my card is acting funny.  It recognizes the card but, I don't get any sort of light and when I do a cardctl status I recieve this

Code: [Select]
Socket 1:
3.3v 16-bit PC Card
Function 0: [ready],  [bat dead],  [bat low]

battery dead?  what the...?

is my card toasted?

I have the same matter with my Socket BT card on Beta1. Don't worry. It's purely software-related (usually ).Just give your Z to some guru so he could tune it.

yeah, I ment to update this afternoone.  After a bit of fiddling I figured out I wasn't cd'ing into the root of the fs.

Funny how sometimes the simplest things can be the most crazy-making...
