Am now using opie (having tried GPE) on Tosa. xine libs are included as part of opie-media-player, but not the command-line xine program.
Is is possible to provide it please?
I tried installing mplayer but ran out of space.
thanks!

Probably not. omp2 uses the xine libs, but xine itself has no frontend that will work inside Opie. It may be possible to build xine to act as mplayer does, with no frontend, but this would be extra work for someone.
Can you not just install mplayer on an SD card (etc.)?

A propos missing apps:
What happened to lftp (the best file tranfer client I'm aware of)? I was in the 3.5.4 base feed but it's not in 3.5.4.1.

3.5.4 apps works under 3.5.4.1
I will add lftp to upgrades
