Title: Is Flashing Badblock Aware?

I want to reflash my Zaurus because of the situation described in here (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=20585). I think one NAND eraseblock (on the root fs) could have gone bad.

Will reflashing (OZ3.5.4.1) scan for badblocks, remember existing badblocks?
