Title: Cherokee & Php Support
Post by: zedkatuf2 on August 04, 2006, 03:15:20 pm
A while back someone posted a URL to a  LAMP subsititue on #openzaurus on freenode.

Well, I took the risk of installing it & it uses Cherokee, a slimmed-down & fast apache-type webserver.

I used the Mysql stuff that came with it too & that's all working...BUT, no PHP support as far as I can tell; Cherokee doesn't handle php files (ie not the expected output).

..I need phpcgi, a binary which enables php files to be parsed properly by Cherokee.

If anyone out tthere can help in some way, please let me know how to make progress, as AFAIK, there is no apache for OZ atm
