Title: Play Your .ogg Files In Your Car!
Post by: pointydog on August 13, 2006, 02:43:41 pm
Hi everyone.
I just bought a new JVC cd/reciever for my car, and I chose one that has USB port right on the face. This is nice, it will recognice flash drives up to 4GB.
Just for fun, I put one of my SD cards full of Zaurus .ogg files into the player and was very suprised to see that it recognises and plays these files! Now I won't have to maintain a seperate library of files for the Z, everyone can share!
JVC info and user manual lists only .mp3 and .wma as supported file types.
The model is KD-G820. There is a lower model that is the same except for the color display. Crutchfield offers this for 2 bills.
Enjoy.
