Title: sl5600 patched kernel for wireless extension v13 or above

Is there any kernel out there that integrates wireless extension and works with Sharp ROM 1.32.  It would be great if the source for the patched kernel is available for 5600 --if not the binary zImage will do too.

There are patches available in OpenZaurus build root via bitkeeper:

They can be applyed on top of kernel source. Beware though that this will requrie an updated drivers (orinoco or hostap) and wireless tools - the built in ones will very likely freeze zaurus.

what is wireless extension?Mine 5600 works fine with tkc & linksys wifi,should i change anything?
