Title: Newbie At C3000/linux Having Problems

I am trying to install exult for Zaurus as well as the SCUMM .0.8.1 posted on these forms and getting a error.  I have a Zaurus C3000 and Cack0 123 beta 1 installed.  When I launch the installer I get this error for both programs.

"the filename in this package includes charaters that this application cannot handle.  Please change the filename and retry install."

I have no idea what to do.  If I change the file name it complains the file name isnt the original name when installing.

Also I havent figured out how to install TAR files(like the library needed for the scumm port).  I wanted to see if anyone could be so kind as to explain how this works.

you might want to ask an admin to transfer this to the cxx00 software section rather than the general section

TAR files ethire need to be in a special dirictory or extracted using tar xf <file> i dont know which one it is so you will need to research a bit more

try looking for posts about meanies website as he has a how to guide for everything

well I finally got it working.  I found that trying to install the ipk files located on hdd3 is the issue.  When I moved the ipk files to the sd card and installed it worked for both programs.

I also got the tar installed as well.
