Title: Cgoban For Sharp Zaurus Sl-5600 (watapon Rom)
Post by: Trevoke on August 23, 2006, 12:24:37 pm
I'm looking at this...

Filename: cgoban_1.9.14_armv5tel.ipk
[...] This version has been optimised for VGA size displays by using
this patch http://sense.net/zc/go/cgoban-1.9.14.zaurus.patch (http://sense.net/zc/go/cgoban-1.9.14.zaurus.patch), found
here http://sense.net/zc/go/ (http://sense.net/zc/go/) and mentioned here
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=4228 (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=4228).
Source: http://cgoban1.sourceforge.net (http://cgoban1.sourceforge.net)
http://surfnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourcefo...n-1.9.14.tar.gz (http://surfnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/cgoban1/cgoban-1.9.14.tar.gz)

But, it needs X, and I don't have X on the Zaurus, since it's a different GUI.
I have found Jago for SL-760 (http://www.andrew.maier.name/zaurus/index.html) which works fine with a minor modification, but the starting screen is too big and it's a pain to redimension it all the time (right now I just leave it open...)

Short of asking someone to compile cgoban for the watapon ROM (Opie-based, IIRC), does anyone know of any decent go software to record games, edit them, view them, show variations and stuch, for the SL-5600 ?

Thanks!

Note that if someone can recompile cgoban for the watapon ROM, it is very, very much appreciated!
Or is this the wrong forum for it?
