While I had Midnight Commander open I accidentally touched the magnify icon (no issue I thought) causing the screen to magnify so only about 1/2 was visible. Ahhhh well, just press it again and it'll return back to its previous, normal, size, I thought. Wrong, it just got even bigger!!
Still no problem I thought, I'll just keep cycling through presses on the icon till it cycles through all its various magnifications, and I'll stop at the original size. Screen kept showing less and less till it eventually showed just one letter, then a very small image which I took to be a shrunken version of the original page.............then the next press froze the whole sl-c1000. A reboot brought all back OK, but a restart of either MC or the Konsole freezes the whole palmtop again. The palmtop seems to be running fine until I start up MC or Konsole, then it instantly freezes.
So far I have gone through 3 of these freeze/reboot cycles, yet I see no way to get into either MC or Konsole to do anything that'll lead to a successful restart of either of those programs.
Anyone have a suggestion? The configuration and machine is exactly as in my sig, below, by the way.

All OK, just realised I had a fairly recent backup, so I restore from that. All works OK now..........but isn't that a bug??
