I've just read the installing guide for OZ .
Well, before installing it I need to repartition the flash because I have now a Cacko rom (before I had Trisfot rom).
If I had a ( i remember I partitioned the root to 32 mb for cacko NON lite - installation )harp I had not to repartition the flash ( I read it on the installation giude ),but I have a cacko now.
So I need to know how is the original Sharp paritioning scheme, bacause I 've bought it with trisoft rom already installed onto it.
Thanks a lot.

You can do a NAND restore on the original SHarp ROM - that will restore the partitions to the original scheme.

thanks for your advice but i have no idea to do this...
my problem is exactly this one:
I wish to install opie on my sl-c1000 but I need to repartition the flash as It was originally otherwise the new rom will not be installed ( I read it on OPENZAURUS FAQ).
Can someone help me?
I received my zaurus with trisoft rom and I resized the flash to install cacko ( i resized only the root partition wich is now 35 mb , the other partition I did't resize them ).
but now I need the default factory partition table...to install opie like FAQ says...
I have no idea to make a NAND restore and I don't know where to find such a original image ...
Sorry, but I m a newbie and I ìm fear getting trouble and mistakes...I need an exactly plan to do this.
THANKS A LOT

Ok I usnderstand there are two procedures at that page...
One is NAND restore and other is bakcup from the original shipping state.
so I need to do a NAND restore OR I need only to use the trisoft backup to install openzaurus opie on my sl-c1000?

Only the NAND restore will restore the original Sharp partitions.

Shall I use an ext3 formatted sdcard to make a nand restore of original sharp rom for my sl-c1000 ?
I get some errors about permissions when I put these files :
http://www.trisoft.de/download/C1000NAND240305.zip (http://www.trisoft.de/download/C1000NAND240305.zip)
onto my vfat formatted sdcard ( using mac os x on my laptop ) before making nand restore.
Thanks
