I just purchased an "EasyDrive" 2.0GB SD card from Ebay, however when I plug it into my Zaurus it freezes for a couple of seconds but doesn't show the card. Any idea on how to fix this? Or is the card incompatible?
I'm using the Sharp ROM version 3.13.

up to 1gb support only. I recommend PNY 1gb

Isn't there a driver for the C series that allows >1GB SD cards? Could this not be ported?
-
Yes there is and no it cannot be ported. Sharp has the sources from what i read. openzaurus supports it due to kernel from what i read without the driver on the c series. Not sure about the sl series.

Damn... Maybe I could format it to have a 1GB partition...

According to http://www.handheld-linux.com/swi/showdetail.php?app=4411 (http://www.handheld-linux.com/swi/showdetail.php?app=4411) it is more or less the driver of the SL-C3200 which also works on SL-C1000, C3000 and C3100 (but not the other models).

Zaurus SL-5000/5500 supports SD/MMC cards up to 1G. Larger ones are not supported nevermind how big partitions they will get.
SL-5600 under 2.4 kernel has same limitations. OpenEmbedded/OpenZaurus developers are working on getting 2.6 kernel working on this model and we have big SD/MMC cards supported (where big >= 2G).

Thats pretty damn cool =) Considering the popularity of the 5500 hopefully 2.6 will be made to work on this model at some point.
Shame about the partitions though, I'll keep the card for now since I can use it for other stuff.
