I know this announcement is almost a month old.
http://samsung.com/PressCenter/PressReleas...911_0000286548# (http://samsung.com/PressCenter/PressRelease/PressRelease.asp?seq=20060911_0000286548#)
These cards use a new technology.
I wonder if these will work in the Zaurus when they are released.
Imagine having 64GB plus the other resources available on your Z
Or, better yet, replacing the 4GB drive with one of these for a total of 128GB storage

the samsung press release is for 32 gigabit (BIT not BYTE) memory chips, and thus you still need 8 to make a byte-wide memory; they also didn't say when CF cards with such high capacities would be in mass production.
but we can all wait and dream

"The 32Gb NAND flash memory can be used in memory cards with densities of up to 64-Gigabytes (GBs). One 64GB card can store over 64 hours of DVD resolution movies (40 movies) or 16,000 MP3 music files (1,340 hours)."

"can be used" != "are being used"
so sorry to nit-pick, but it's merely stating that new high capacity CF cards are possible, but nothing too specific

im just wondering if it will work on my zaurus so i can swap the internal drive out.
