Has anybody been able to play .3gp files on Z? I have tried 3GP files coded using the Nokia suite but I get video but no audio. It outputs "Cannot find codec for audio 0x726D6173". I believe I have used AMR codec for sound. Any idea what am I missing? I've tried -ac ffamrnb but get message cannot find codec "amr_nb" in libavcodec.
Thanks for your help!

Never mind the Zaurus, I had a tough time trying to get them to play on my Linux PC. Sorry to be discouraging.
If you get it working I would be interested in hear your story as I know someone that sends me vids from a cell phone with this extension and would be interested in viewing them on my Zaurus too.

I got my 3GP files from Sony Erricson phone playing just fine with atty's mplayer (which is pre-installed on Cacko). The latest mplayer 1.1pre8 should be able to play them also if the proper amr patches have been applied to libavcodec and codec.conf is updated with the right codec string during compile...
unfortunately, the build for OZ is missing those. report it as a bug in OZ and maybe someone will fix it.

Yes. Feeding 3gp to the forum search function easily finds the details, as this has been talked about several times before.
