On my overclocking (Frequency) menu, there is a power saving entry that shows:
Power Saving (208/208/104 MHz)
My system info shows:
CPU Speed: CPU: 208 MHz, Mem: 104 MHz, LCD: 104 MHz
So I changed the menu entry in freqchange.conf to:
1,Power Saving (208/104/104 MHz), 0000110,8
so the menu would reflect the correct values.
My first question is: Does anyone else have the same issue with the menu entry v/s what system info reports?
(This is not really a problem issue, just wondering if anyone else's is the same).
My second question is: Will overclocking heat up the processor, and thus shorten its life?

Yes, I have the same mismatch, probably just a typo on the overclocking menu.
As far as your second question, yes overclocking heats up the processor. Whether or not it shortens the life would depend on how long the processor is operated at the elevated temps. Maybe there is someone who has some stats on the affects of overclocking on a processor.
I would imagine that the typical use of the Zaurus would not max out the cpu for extended periods of time and thus it would unlikely that overclocking would cause much damage. Just my thoughts though, no data to support.

Mine shows this in the battery applet and also in Kino's overclocking page in prefrences.
Battery Applet:
Power Saving (208/208/104MHz)
Power Saving (143/143/71MHz)
Kino:
Power Saving (208/208/104MHz)
Power Saving (143/143/71MHz)
I don't use the overclocking applet, except in Kino when playing a stubborn movie.
Is the last one incorrect also? (Power Saving (143/143/71MHz))

The only incorrect one is the one I mentioned above (according to system info).
For me, Kino is currently showing the same as the battery applet menu, even after I edited freqchange.conf, so it looks like both menus use that file for the menu list.

I use the max speeds possible when playing video. At all other times it is set to "normal" or standard speed.
When playing movies it does seem to get warmer, not by a lot, and battery life takes about a 20 to 30% hit.

The following settings seem to make my screen flicker slightly:
Turbo 624/312/156
Overclocked 520/260/130
Power Saving 143/143/71
According to system info, the 3rd figure (.../.../104) represents LCD speed.
All the other settings have 104 as the LCD speed, and don't seem to have that issue.
Other than the standard setting, I pretty much only use the power saving setting.
