http://www.blender.org/ (http://www.blender.org/)
I think this was requested at one point.
It's not a package just a single binary.
Mesa and SDL should be the only extra packages required, ldd output below.
The uncompressed binary is big (8.5M)

Blender on Zaurus... How "fast" it is exactly ?
If mesa on Zaurus is fast enough, we should give a try at beryl ))
-
Blender?!
Now someone has to make something with it on the Z, post it and report the rendering time.

I did some simple rendering benchmarks.

Have you been peaking into my brain?

Wow, not so bad !
Have you been peaking into my brain?
LOL That could be fun )) But I'm not sure beryl allowed non hardware rendering. I'm not a 3D guru at all but my attempts to run without 3D GPU just failed.

ULhume
If I'm right there is a way to run Xgl without hardware support of OpenGL (using only MesaGL). But it'll be terrible... On my desktop (but in 1024x768) It wasn't usable at all...
-
I hope your not serious about beryl, it's a bitch to get working on some recent distros with certain hardware (yes, I'm looking at you ATI!!)
-
wow, that was way quicker than I expected. which relase are you using? beta 3 or 121?

Tell me about it, I spent a complete night trying to install it on my wife's laptop (S3 SavagePro). I juste gave up. Now, for me, beryl = nVidia, full-stop

Beta3
I just used some scenes that have been around for a while.
It seems to choke on most games though.
the touch screen is less than desirable to work with.

Is it possible to reupload this app?

I have checked on Archive.org and they are not stored there as well. I have directly emailed the author for the archive but my email has bounced back. Does someone here have a copy of the archive?
