Title: root password on sharp ROM 3.1 (unable to su)

I just upgrade my sl5500 to sharp ROM 3.1. I noticed that the default user is zaurus on the terminal level. I was trying to su to root and it\'s asking me for password. Does anybody know what the default password is? or is there a way to reset it my way? Please advise....

Did you set a password via the Security applet or on the Password screen when you first loaded the 3.10 ROM?  If so, that is your root pass.  Otherwise the root pass is set to blank by default..

Thanks offroadgeek. I got it working through setting it on the java applet.  Thanks again and more power the ZAURUS!!!
