I just purchased a used SL-C3200. The previous owner installed Cacko 1.23. When I boot, there are many errors that seem related to a missing SD or CF. I would like to just reflash Cacko so that I start from a known baseline. I followed the installation instructions, but when installer.sh launches I get a couple of garbled strings with file not found and it reboots.
What is the best way for me to reflash with Cacko?
I am anxious to get this going and appreciate any assistance.

check the md5 of your download. Might also try a different cf card.

I wouldn't be too bothered about this. The ROM boots and tries to mount the CF and SD with ext2(??) format not FAT
If you have concernes the cards are faulty or corrupt unmount them once booted and do a fsck

I know that there are going to be error messages, but as I invest the hours necessary to get it the way I want it, I don't want to be hung up with errors related to configuration/installation/removal/etc. that the previous owner did. I want to start with a clean install of Cacko 1.23. I am just not sure of the best way to go about doing that since a simple reinstall did not work. I will keep researching. I have been reading the TriSoft guide and it is pretty helpful along with Meanies site. Neither of them specifically address what I am trying to do.
In the reading I did prior to receiving my 3200, it appeared that the old NAND restore that I was able to do with my860 may not work with the 3200 to restore the partititions, etc to their original state. If that works, I can probably just do a NAND restore with the TriSoft image and start the Cacko install process as normal.

from trisoft download SLC3200SYSPART.zip (http://www.trisoft.de/download/SLC3200SYSPART.zip)
unzip and read the Readme.txt file
put the files in hdd1 and hdd2 on your 3200
now try to install your cacko

I did that. According to the readme, my partition sizes were correct. So, I downloaded the backup file from Trisoft and restored it. Then the did the Cacko install and it worked. Thanks for the advice. Off to the races.
