Title: Cacko Rom - Rotate View Sl3200
Post by: piltdown on January 04, 2007, 03:40:07 am
If I use certain applications (i.e. iqnotes) they don't load in landscape (laptop) mode but in portrait (PDA) mode and the display is very large with all the screen magnified.

How can I configure the apps/Cacko for normal viewing?

I haven't used Cacko for about a year, but if I remember correctly if you hold your stylus down on the icon to the program there is a way to pull up a properly page that will let you uncheck a zoom option.

antikx is right

some apps don't want to run in VGA but QVGA, so it might not be possible.

Holding down the stylus on the icon and delesecting "Display with magnified screen" does force it to run in laptop mode - but the progam display is then small (tucked-up in  the top left hand side of the screen. The particular app (IQNotes) works fine in OZ.

I'm guessing that the IQNotes that you are using has been compiled/configured to fit a QVGA screen.
Are you able to find a different/newer ipk?
