Title: On Device Development?
Post by: harenber on January 04, 2007, 04:02:45 am
Dears,

is there any possibility to install a development environment (gcc and friends) on the Z to do on-board development?

Thanks,

  Torsten

Have a look at meanie's blog entry about it: http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/?q=node/75 (http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/?q=node/75)

Some Questions:

1.) does meanie's image include a fortran compiler? (g77 or gfortran?)
2.) this should work for SL6000  equally well for 3xxx ?
3.) any advice on rebuilding the gcc suite?  (./configure notes, flags, etc)
(I'm currently trying to rebuild  3.4.5  with the old 3.4.5 zgcc image and I've never tried building gcc before)
