Hey, I am brand new here but I just wanted to point out that tyrannozaurus.com has an SD card compatibility list.  Anyone who is looking to buy a card can look there for other people's experiences.  Also, anyone who has cards, particularly 4gb ones, should add to the table.  SD cards are one of the most difficult things to buy for the Zaurus since 4gb non-SDHC cards are not really a proper standard.  Thanks, and great board here.

Thanks, its a great place!  It was painful while OESF was down.  I have read that post but what I was hoping is that people used there own experiences, that way the table would not have any misunderstandings in it.  I was going to suggest to Antikx to add a column for comments.  The PNY cards do not seem to be straight forward compatible as many people reported having to return the cards 2-3 times before getting a good one.

A forum thread is a really bad way to try a figure out which card works. we need to put a table in the wiki with some standard information and standard comments. I have never edited a wiki, but I will try and figure it out. If someone is more wiki-competent, please start this up. It would also be a great way to reference drivers with h/w.

That is exactly what I am talking about:  [a href=\"http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/?q=wiki/SDCompatList]http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/?q=wiki/SDCompatList[/url]
Have a look.

sure, we could add a comment column.
As long as people kept it breif (We are limited be geography)
Another option is to add a comment to the bottom of the page with info people should know about using the card.
I think puting the persons name next to yes/no is a good idea too. That way you new who to contact when you have questions.

Absolutely. I forgot Antikx was going to work on this. It might also be helpful to know what OS/driver it worked with. Maybe not.

Here's what is now at the top of the wiki page:
If there is some info that you think people should know about why/how your card worked or didn't work:
    * add a comment at the bottom of the page
    * link it to your name in the table by typing a square bracket, the URL of the comment, a space, your name and then the closing square bracket.
    * If you have difficulty linking it or would rather not try, no worries! Send Antikx a PM and he'll be happy to take care of it.
This should keep things neat but still very informative.
Sound good?
