Title: IrComm on pdaXrom dropping connection

I am able to connect to my phone using the PPP dialup app on the rom via IR, however, it always drops connection after a couple of minutes.   The PPP dialup app \"disconnect\" button changes label to \"connect\" when this drop occurs.  I can still see the ppp protocol traffic comming from the phone, so I dont think it is that device.

Anyone have any ideas?

One more thing I wanted to mention, I am using sprint vision which I have seen it pushing about 80Kbps transfer rates (not sure if it is a buffer overrun thing our not)

I timed the dropout and it is close to 2 minutes, which led me to the idle timeout setting in the prefs for the dialup connection.    I bumped this up to some un-godly amount and now it doesnt drop.

Therefore:  It appears the idle detection is not working in the PPP dialer app.
