Title: Gnokii v0.60 for pdaxrom

I\'ve compiled Gnokii V0.6.0 for the pdaxrom. See:

You\'ll need the bluetooth libraries installed although I haven\'t tested bluetooth support. IRDA support works with my 3650 phone.

Gnokii is a program to access addressbook, SMS, etc of your phone.

Has anybody tried this with a C860 and a Nokia 6600 (either bluetooth or irDA)??

Since it is a command line tool, should this not also run on Cacko, and not only pdaxrom?

Yes it will probably work on cacko without problem. I\'ve not tried it with the 6600. Unfortunately Gnokii tends to not follow the latest model phones due to lack of information. The standard \'AT\' command set functions will work though (sending SMS, etc). Querying address book entries and the like may not.

Thanks for the reply! This looks like a great tool, I will hopefully get my C860 in the next two weeks and this will be one of the first tools I would like to get working.

Doesn't work with Cacko (1.21b) after all  . It installed fine but gave the following error message when I tried to start it:
gnokii: error while loading shared libraries: libXpm.so.4: cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory

Of course it doesn't work for Cacko - the title said "Gnokii for pdaxrom"

You might be able to get it to work using X/Qt, but I won't work on qtopia based ROM

I was also letting BalroG (and anyone else) know that Gnokii V0.6.0 for pdaXrom does not work in Cacko, to save them from wasting their time

Sorry, my mistake. When you asked about Cacko I thought you meant the original Cacko X11 Rom, the predecessor to the pdaXrom.
