Title: Opie-camera video mode
Post by: Tarkus on March 07, 2004, 12:40:23 am
Can anyone provide any info about the specs on the video mode of opie-camera?  I\'m mainly interested in max fps and resolution. I checked the main opie-camera page, but could not find this info.

The video mode resolutions are the same as the picture mode resolutions, i.e. maximum is 640x480. Maximum fps depends on the resolution. I hesitated to give concrete maximums because it also depends on the optimization which is still possible although the driver is slow as molasses... typically you\'ll get 5 frames in 640x480 and 10 frame in 320x240. As I\'ve said, optimization may possible, but isn\'t on very high on my priority list. Patches welcome
