Title: zynergy, 250 patch?
Post by: nixmeister on March 07, 2004, 06:12:28 pm
I\'ve got a 5600 running zynergy5600. Does anyone know if this has the PXA250 patch applied? It seems to run MUCH faster than my previous sharp default. Just wondering if anyone knows, or knows how to check....

The Zynergy site https://www.timekiller.org/zynergy/zynergy5600.htm (https://www.timekiller.org/zynergy/zynergy5600.htm) doesn\'t mention anything about including the pre-emptive patches. I think it\'s faster because they decided to use opie instead of Qtopia.

Actually, zynergy5600 is running qtopia. Is there a way to switch it to opie that isn\'t too painful? I\'d love to be running opie, but I\'m waiting for OZ to support the 5600 well....

I am using the Zynergy5600 ROM with a preemptive kernel flashed ontop (I had everything running, then flashed the new image w/out a hard reset or reformat).  Everything is now running MUCH faster and so far no instability!
