Title: Can i use Firefox under OZ 3.2?

i saw a cacko ROM yesterday
it runs on c7x0 series
but not my sl5500

i saw they have a feed to download Firefox

can i use that to install on my sl5500?

no it is for the Xrom which is only for the cxxx series

It would run under Xqt (after you\'d added the various libs, etc. which it needs), but for the fact that it has almost certainly been compiled into the arm5 instruction set which is a step above the arm4 set which the 5500 will run.

So the easy answer is again no (unless you want to compile it yourself, etc.).

i saw there\'s a browser called Minmo (written under Mozilla 1.7 codes), i download it off a feed here:  http://handhelds.org/download/feeds/unstable/ (http://handhelds.org/download/feeds/unstable/)

will it run under my OZ 3.2 5500?

i saw there\'s a Mozilla 1.1 browser on that feed too

will that run also?

I don\'t know.

You\'ll definietely need X of some or other type installed to minimo to run and I assume the same goes for the other one.

Have a go, you can\'t break anything. You\'ll probably get lots of lib dependencies which you\'ll need to track down.
