I will create a folder on tyrannozaurus, create an ftp user and give the person who volunteers the id and password.
Looking for a volunteer as this is something I too have been thinking about and wanting to do but lack the time.
Anyone want to bite?

well i've little troubles with ipkg-make-index:
it ends on some files with mv to "old" directory and i find my sdcard filesystem remounted as read-only....do you know how to bypass ?

[hi,  I gues I might as well mention it here--  the "new" gplflash 4.3 in the feeds here crashes on me with alarming regularity.  If it's just me...well...too bad for me, I'll find another version. If it's the versin, though maybe we should be sure there is a working one in the feed?

Great initiative !!

Just one thing : some files have "_" where they should have "-". This is due to the upload feature in this site (it changes "-" to "_".

When installed to "/" this doesn't mind, when installed to external storage, things will probably go wrong. When using "ipkg remove" things won't work correctly. As far as I recall ipkg remove will see "sdl", "sdl_devel" and "sdl_docs" all as "sdl" where it sees "sdl", "sdl-devel" and "sdl-docs" as three different packages.

In short : use "_" (underscore) only as a seperator between name/version/architecture.

-changed "_" to "-" in filenames
-changed the url to xxx/oesf/feed
-added latest packages, only 1 page missing to have all topic packages

I think it would be great if we could split up the feed into two feeds, one for applications and one for ganes. what do you think?

also, another suggestion is to create an index.html files with all the packages descriptions and links to the packages ala tyrannozaurus feeds

i can send you the scripts to generate it if you can't find one...'

i don't know...multiple feeds means multiple lines...but why not...

well, IMHO, it is always better to have some description rather than just a list of files since the filename/package name doesn't always tell you what the package is all about
