Title: Sun Java On Opie
Post by: Mongoosefred on January 26, 2007, 09:02:07 am
Hi,

I saw the news about Sun releasing the source of their JVM and was wondering if anyone had managed to get it working on OPIE?

Having looked on the boards it looks as if people have tried on pdaXrom (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=21995&hl=) and Oz/GPE. (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=22207)

Having had a quick read of the problems they GPE guys where having, it seams to be with libqt, which is part of the OPIE release.

I was wondering if anyone knew if I could take the pdaXrom package and install it on OZ/OPIE? Are the lib versions the same?

Thanks....
