Title: Capn Fish's New Sdl Dev Libs
Post by: danboid on January 27, 2007, 05:47:53 am
I see Capn Fish has released some new SDL dev packages for pdaX so I'm presuming these are newer or better in some way than the SDL dev stuff included in Meanies latest zgcc? I'm wondering what the differences are and, if Meanie has no plans to include these new SDL dev packages in the next zgcc release, if I can easily uninstall/remove the current SDL libs from zgcc as previous trouble with FLTK tells me that the zgcc sdl will take preference and stop me using the newer build.

I'm hoping that re-compiling chibitracker with this new SDL will solve the seemingly pdaX specific bugs I've been experiencing.

Thanks!

Those are the latest SDL libs that I compiled with the CFLAGS found in the "What are the useful CFLAGS?" thread. I don't know anything about Meanie's ZGCC, so I can't say they are "better."

Danboid: build your own custom zgcc image. its not that hard, but just takes some time to do...
besides, you can always extract the files from the image and modify whatever you like.
