Title: Av700 File Size Limit?
Post by: Grey on January 30, 2007, 06:12:52 pm
I am using CloneDVDMobile to encode films on my PC and copy them to my AV700. All works well, except that one film is rather long and has a file size of 2.21GB. When I copy it over (AV700 as HDisk), it is unreadable. Is there a way round this? Can I copy film to Memstick and plug that straight into the AV700?

Thanks,

Grahame

As the file system is FAT32 you are approaching the cut off for if a file can be read or even transferred onto the drive.

You can just split the film into two by doing the encoding twice (some programs will split it for you once a maximum file size is reached), or compress it more.  My trial of clonedvd has expired so cant give you more information.
