Title: Python (and other older programs) on pdaX Rom?
Post by: fabianE on March 08, 2004, 05:54:34 pm
Hello,

in one of the first versions of X11-Rom there have been several python packages including pyqt. These packages aren\'t available anymore on cacko.biz.
Does anybody know whether these packages will still run on the pdaX Rom?

What is the reason for the disappearance of these (and other) packages?

Regards

Fabian

I\'ve heard that they still run, but I\"ve been so preoccupied flashing, I haven\'t had a chance to test.

of course, the files are mirrored on zug/spy mirrors.

I would also be interestet for information regaring the availability of ROX-Lib and PyGTK, as they were present in the last X11-ROM I used (and still use); PyGTK is really useful and nice to program with, so  I would be glad to know if it is still in the new pdaXrom.
