Hi,
Just flashed to pdaxrom on my c1000 using kathrin-1.1.0beta3-akita.zip and since windows were too large for most of the apps, I tried to change the settings of the "margins" and size of boxes in some utility. The device began to reboot after that and I get "Waiting for x server to shut down." at which point the bootup stalls.
Xset q says unable to open display ""
Is there some way I can get back to default settings from the command line? Or do I have to reflash the rom again. Tried reset of Zaurus and that does nothing.
Help! So far I HATE pdaxrom.

Unless you did lots of customization, it would probably be easier to just reflash.

Thanks....hated Cacko at first too...now I love it.
I reflashed and am doing a nand backup right now. How do I do a "Backup/Restore" like the Sharp Rom within Pdaxrom interface? Is there an ipk for that?
Also, I noticed in my previous go around with pdaxrom that the feed listed by default in the package installer is incorrect. What is a functioning feed which would have apps compatible with kathrin-1.1.0beta3-akita?
Also, I do not want to enter a login and password each time it reboots - how do I change that? (I live on top of a mountain in the Appalachian Mts. of NC - don't need security here.)

...suddenly you're getting a lot less sympathy from me.

There is no backup/restore utility that you can use from inside pdaXrom as far as I know. You just use NAND backups.
The feed that is always "up" is
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distri...urus-Cxx00/feed (http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/pdaxrom/download/1.1.0beta3/Zaurus-Cxx00/feed)
but I've had some issues with it not working. YMMV. There's the pdaXrom feed at
http://www.pdaxrom.org/download/1.1.0beta3/Zaurus-Cxx00/feed (http://www.pdaxrom.org/download/1.1.0beta3/Zaurus-Cxx00/feed)
but it's down with some frequency.
As for autologin, check here:

Search for "start x" and it'll come up.

Thanks, Capn_Fish!
I'm a Windows' person so I'm a bit bewildered at this rom, but will go and try to figure it out with the help of searches on this forum.
Thanks again for your help.

Nothing against Beta3, but you may want to try pdaXii13. It's Beta3 with bug fixes and tweaks.
