such a shame, a real shame, there's no SDIO for the Z.

I think there's SD-> CF adapters but I believe they don't support SDIO.
I think I got this opinion from previous posts on this forum.
Then there's the issue of drivers. *sigh*

I wouldn't lose hope yet as it says it has a driver for Linux V2.4.18, if only for Samsung 2410/2440. Is the samsung driver just a binary?

there's no technical details at all, and the driver doesn't appear to be downloadable.  wonder if worth contacting them to ask if source is available. it might be a mix of source and binary blob for arm cpu specific to that samsung cpu.

afaik there is serial sido support in the base rom, so that means sdio serial cards and GPS should work out of the box

not sure about this piece however, i heard that there were going to be sdio drivers merged with the mainline soon but it might have been a roumer. you would still need a driver in that case for this card
