Title: Keymapping Fixes For Pdaxrom Beta3

Could not find a topic where I can append this to, so I'm creating a new topic.

below is my customized /etc/X11/kb/userdefined.xmodmap file.

Those are the changes I've made:
[a href=\"http://up.drun.net\" target=\"_blank\"] Another disadvantage is that I don't have F11 and F12. But at least it works.

* Fn + 0 - Insert key. I could not find it, and I made a combination to switch this.

* Shift + minus ( - ) key - Grave ( ` ) - I know it's Fn + M, but find this more usable and quicker to use as I use it lot in console commands.


That's all for now  any further changes will be post here.

Note: If anyone has some xmodmap file that optimizes the keyboard usage, please post it here.

my spitz.xmodmap pretty much does what you have done except my Grave is Fn +q
and I have the Insert key mapped to the Shift + Fn

now that I think about it, I like your Fn+0 mapping to Insert more than my Fn + Shift

I use plain beta3, customized by me, so never noticed your xmodmap file. I just share the way i did it. How you press F1-F10 keys with your file?

Left Shift + Fn + 1 till 10
Right Shift + Fn was Insert, but I think that was causing some unwanted side effects

there is a big long thread on keymappings in pdaXrom which I started some time ago when I first ventured into using pdaXrom ...

My setup has Insert = Fn + P
I used that as there is no default Fn action for P key.

I will try your shift+fn method for function keys as my setup just uses the Fn modifier but I have trouble in some apps entering numbers - 2 key doesn't work in Gaim for example.

I have mapped Insert to Shift-Fn-BS (ie. Shift-Del). Most intuitive to me.
