Title: Pdaxii13 5.3 - No Right Click/tap
Post by: Ling on February 18, 2007, 11:06:39 am
I can't seem to right out how to right click/tap with the stylus. i thought that I held the alt key (the one to the right of the Ctrl key) and tapped and that gave me a right click. However, no joy. I have restarted X and rebooted, but still no joy. When I plug in my USB mouse, right click works. Any ideas?

Use the Fn key and stylus for right click.

EDIT: the only problem with using the Fn key for right click, is that meanie also has the Fn key mapped to "sticky keys"
I disabled sticky keys on my pdaxii13 setup.
See this thread.

You can also change right click behavior  in "input setup" under system tools, but some things in that settings app don't seem to work right.

Thanks Jon. I thought I had tried that. I suppose that I will also disable sticky keys. I do use that when I am in a one-handed typing situation. I wish that Meanie would have left it the way it was with the key to the right of the Ctrl key. Hopefully, one of the new developers (like many of us) won't need the JP support and will produce a version without scim, etc. IMHO, using the Fn key is a bad idea.
