I got up this morning and thought

"Hmmm. I'm sure I haven't hassled Mr. Menaie for anything in at least a few days, maybe a full week- yelp!"

Best make amends eh?

Seriously, I'm dying to try out a full install w/hdimage of pdaXA sally but I don't want to install 5.3b today if the 5.3 hdimage will be uploaded in the next few days so if you could let me know when you expect to upload a new release Menaie that'd be great!

Of course there's no way I'm leaving it at that!

* Thanks for including the gnumeric and dillo tweaks I suggested but have you included the mplayer association for *.flv/*.FLV (Flash video, now very popular thanks to YouTube) in ROX for 5.3?

* Will attys new mplayer make 5.3 as I've read people have had a few probs with it. I'm not bothered if the OSD doesn't work but there could be worse bugs??

* Will CAPS LOCK work in 5.3? If not, how do I get it working properly?

* Did anybody test the unwanted USB keyboard bindings out? I'll be able to test that tomorrow when the adapter returns.

I'm also still eagerly awaiting a new zgcc- no autoconf means I've been able to compile a few svn/cvs apps I've been wanting to try out. I tried comping autoconf from source with no success and I tried removing zgcc and then installing gcc, automake, gcc-headers, binutils and autoconf etc. from the TZ feeds but I should've guessed it would just be exactly the same broke version as in the current zgcc.

There you go! An exemplary bit of Menay hassling- I feel like a new man!

I also suggest setting unzip as the default action in ROX when clicking on a .zip file.

Even better IMHO would be associating  .zips with xarchiver seeing as this is installed in pdaXii13 full as standard. Thanks for pointing out this important omission Ling!

Whatever. Unzip is installed as well. I really don't care as long is there is an association that will allow me to unzip using only the stylus.

zip is already associated in 5.3.1 which will be released some time in the future, probably in a few weeks or so when I feel like working on it. have more important things to do, like going on holidays with gf
