I have just installed beta3 on my SL3200 and after rebooting using shutdown -r now I get the following error when trying to startx:
Removing empty element from the valid list of fontpaths
matchbox-window-manager: /lib/libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2_3' not found (required by matchbox-window-manager)
waiting for X server to shutdown
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Try reinstalling glibc (ipkg install glibc, assuming you have a feed set up).
EDIT: Or try a different WM, but they all may depend on that lib

What feeds are you using ? pdaX doesn't use glibc 2.3.x. I suppose you are using wrong feeds (OZ-ones ?)
The correct feeds are here : [a href=\"http://www.pdaxrom.org/downloads]http://www.pdaxrom.org/downloads[/url] or on ibiblio.org.

Thanks for the replies.
Your responses gave me the clue as where I went wrong. Thanks. I previously had OZ installed - so presumably I hadn't partitioned/formatted the disk correctly and it was picking up some of the OZ files.
What partitioning does pdaX require?
Thanks again.

Nothing specific required.
I use :
part 1 : 1Gb : ext2 : for installing apps
part 2 : 2 Gb : ext2 : for data and compiling
part 3 : 1 Gb : fat : for windows connectivity
But it's up to you.
