I think it's really nice to hear fellow Zaurus users discussing Zaurus related software and distros/ROMs
Also, I enjoyed hearing some of the software names and such. I didn't know how a lot of the stuff discussed is supposed to be pronounced. I've only seen much of the pdaxrom stuff in print only. I also left some comments at tyrannozaurus on this subject.

Very nice! It's great to hear what other people think about software and what they want just off the top of their head.

Keep up all you're doing for the Z community, Antikx!

Nicely done!  A good review of what's been going on lately, and really quite a good effort for the debut of a couple of "amateurs!"

You mention that this was recorded on your Zaurus... were you using a single mike?  If so, what mike did you get?  I thought the sound quality was quite good, particularly since this was multiple speakers in what sounded like a cafe.  If you've got one of those "mini-mikes," I'm rather impressed.

Thanks.
Ya it's just a little mic.
I'm using that one that HoloVector recommended: link to mic post (https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=22980&view=findpost&p=151734)
It's a great mic.
I did a mini-review of KhdRecord using the mic here: http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/?q=node/414 (http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/?q=node/414)

Yeah, I remember reading that review.  Unfortunately, I can't find that mike in the States.  Also, I thought there used to be more variety on eBay, but it seems that almost all the "mini mikes" on eBay are from the same seller in Hong Kong.  I wasn't too impressed with a previous purchase from a seller based in HK or Taiwan (can't remember which), and microphone quality can vary so much that I don't feel like gambling on it.

I've scoped out a few local electronics stores but they don't seem to stock tiny microphones.

I have a question, is the Zaurus mike that Conics sells any good? Is the quality good, or should one look elsewhere?

Just MP3 right now for convenience sake.
Would you, and possible others. prefer OGG?
