Hi,
just go to the products page in archos.com shows you the details:
http://www.archos.com/products/video/archo...=global&lang=en (http://www.archos.com/products/video/archos_704wifi/index.html?country=global&lang=en)
This product has been announced for several months now, and you can find some reviews about it like:

Just wonder how data entry is done. Is there any stylus or can it use USB keyboard?
Also what linux system is it using? can't see it in the specs.
USB host is great.
What if we load Debian or OpenBSD in it?

Some cons as reported in linuxdevice:
"There was a pretty noticeable one- to two-second delay between an input and an action, which may grate the nerves of impatient Web surfers. In addition, flash-based sites such as YouTube are off-limits."
"On the downside, processing power is fairly weak, and the integrated Opera browser is not completely stable, especially with highly complex sites such as CNET and CNN."
(What processor is it?)
-
Many thanks for your answers so far, but all this still leaves open at least these questions:
* which processor?
* which Linux?
* does it run a telnetd/sshd + some shell?
* does it use/have X11?
* (how) is it possible to install different applications (e.g. a better/faster browser)
* does it have an USB keyboard option? Or can it be added?
* is it possible to port OpenBSD?
