if it helps in the root directory there is 3 bash files...

if you have shell access to the server then it is easy (provided it is a linux/unix type server and not that toy OS)
simply run md5sum on the file remotely and locally and see if the checksum created is the same.

my guess is its a toy, or blocked but how do i login to shell access ??

By "toy" I believe he means Windows.

i thought he meant some thing like free web space access compared with full root ssh shell access..

you may have to ask about the detail but i am willing to bet its the same ip as your ftp server with the same login details over ssh if they provide it

by the sounds of it i dont think they do, are we talking about a huge file here?

you might be able to pull somthnig off with a cgi app

thanks was starting to read along those lines, and checking out free shell account site's, what bash ...

i dont need to check it so much now, so i leave it. the file was 120mb.
