I don't know if these match up but, can the revision letter for a socket bluetooth CF card be matched with the model number? I have been shopping on ebay for a CF card but they don't give info on the revision number.
EDIT: I think I should be asking for everyone to post the model number for say Revision K, & then I can deduct if the model number corresponds with the revision letter.
So please post the model number if you have Revision K Socket Bluetooth CF!
Thanks

Ask them for it. It should be clearly labeled on the card.

I asked them but the repy I got was "the card is in an interstate warehouse & so can't be accessed"...

I should have guessed you'd tried that.
Sorry, no idea if you can tell the revision from the model.

I have the revision K card which works OK in cacko and pdaxrom up to beta 3, most people seem to have the H/I card, which seems OK too. Not sure if they've got a new revison, I got my card about 8 months ago.

What model number is the revision K card? Do you know if the model number will also correspond with the revision letter?

On my Socket bluetooth card purchased last summer (2006), number is
8510-00159K
From that number, it clearly shows that it is a 'K' card.
There are 2 bar codes, one above the "model" number, and one between the "model" number and serial number.
Mine came with an installation CD-ROM and 2 thick, unnecessary books, (one is regulations, other is advertising).

Thanks Jon_J but is that the actual model/product part number? The model/prod part numbers I am finding on eBay are BL4539-641 & BL4539-642. They seem to be the only ones available.

My numbers on the actual card are very similar to zeigerpuppy's numbers as he posted.

Thanks Jon_J! You have the model/part number BL4538-641 so I deduct that this number could well possibly be revision K. I will have to double check before I buy. I have gone through a bunch of ebay advertisments selling these socket BT cards, but no mention of the revision number in the technical specs. I think it would be very helpful for them to display this as these cards are very popular with Z owners - they may even sell more cards this way.
Thanks again for you input Jon_J! Thanks to zeigerpuppy too!

I ended up purchasing a Socket Bluetooth Compact Flash, model number BL4538-641, on eBay. It turned out to be revision K. And this works fine on my Z. :-)

Does revision H work? I am trying to find a card as well. Someone mentioned it works "OK". What does that mean? The OESF site says it requires an extra bluez package to get it to work. Anyone have this and can offer any info?
