Title: Reversing Login Passwords
Post by: Zeke on June 01, 2007, 10:40:04 pm
Is there anyone here that can help me secure a password login?
I have an idea to make hacking my password more difficult to login in reverse, preferrably in another language. I am thinking Hebrew which as you may know is logged in right to left. I am having difficultly setting this up and I am unable to locate fonts.
The idea is to make it difficult to login and provide a small measure of initial security.
Forgive me if this is not the appropriate forum.
I have looked and looked through the forums but I could not find anything here or elsewhere.

what do you mean by "reverse"

if you mean taking the string from /etc/passwd and turning it into the users passowrd then  that problems already been solved by taking a salt and the password then putting them through a one way hash

i dont think that having the letters run from right to left will help anyway, i know i dont look at the screen when typing my passowrd, as its normally just a whole line of ******
