EDITED: it seems that [a href=\"http://www.OpenBSD.org/42.html]http://www.OpenBSD.org/42.html[/url] specified in INSTALL.zaurus is not (yet!) created

so if you've any news, please send them to us

Great news!
But does this imply that all the existing packages have to be recompliled for 4.2?
Now learning to set up a NFS server on my laptop to help compiling.
Also how about SD card support? It's a pity that i can never get any of my >1GB card working under OBSD...

you re not lucky with your sdcard because i remember my Transcend 4GB was working good under bsdzaurus4.1.....

anyway we want some news about :

-sdcard write support
-bluetooth rfcomm
-power consumption fastness

please

i'm always looking at new released packages under openbsd and i see that all regular news are quickly being avalaibled under openbsd! i think that when these 3 troubles will be solved i'll move my zaurus forever to openbsd !

Oh so it seems to be only me ...
Then how do you format your SD? Is it necessary to format it with FFS on some other obsd box before putting it in Z?

Bluetooth drivers are enabled by default in the GENERIC kernel, but were still lacking RFCOMM support.   Power consumption is the same and probably wont change until OpenBSD can be installed onto the flash partitions.  Writing to an SD card via the on board SD slot still isn't possible. Hopefully this will be fixed by 4.2-release or 4.2-current?

I've posted the 4.2-beta dmesg output here: Current OpenBSD dmesg logs (http://mersenne.homeunix.net/zaurusforums/viewtopic.php?p=310#310)

Thanks for the update.

Under "What's New - Improved Hardware Support", it says

New pxammc(4) driver for the MMC/SD/SDIO controller on zaurus.

Sounds very promising!
