Ok, the forum should be fully upgraded now.
I broke the Wiki. Not really broke. I just need to figure out the command to run PHP5 from the command line. Anyway, let me know how the forum runs please.
Also, all validating accounts were deleted. Users can now freely register without us having to validate them.
Edit:
Things to fix
4. Move forum back to 'forums'. I have a ticket open with Ibiblio about this issue. There is no 'forums' folder on the actual drive.. what the heck is the http forums table linking to?
Done. Looks like everything is good to go now, so let me know if there are any issues.
Well, 4 WAS fixed. Now it's broken again, so site is back to 'forum'. Ibiblios official response:
You're seeing an interesting NFS issue that we haven't seen before. Not a major cause for concern, though.
We're consulting with the hardware vendor and will have a response to you directly once we're sure of the root cause.
Things to remember:
* your data is backed up off-site nightly
* your data is stored on redundant physical media for high availability
* the hardware vendor gives us good support which we pay for
* the hardware vendor is well-respected in the industry
We're confident we'll have this worked out soon.

Ok I've done all I can without replies from Ibiblio. I'm going to sleep. After work tomorrow, I'll finish up the Wiki and hopefully get the thumbnails thing to work.

I lied in my last post. I couldn't sleep with the Wiki broken, so now it's fixed.
If you guys could please go over it and make sure things are smooth I'd appreciate it. I'll fix the formatting and all that jazz tomorrow. I need sleep now. I apologize for taking so long to fix everything.

Thanks for your work !

Thanks for your work !
Seconded!
Glad to see the captcha thingy is in operation. Am I dreaming or has the new software sorted out the problem with downloading attachments?
Three hearty cheers for the upgrades!

Nice job!
Just a quick question...
When checking for new posts, there is a drop-down at the bottom of the page that gives options for Today, This Week, etc...
When clicking on "View New Posts" when there are no new posts, there is an error message that says "Sorry, but we did not find any matches to display. Try again and broaden your search criteria. If you were searching for new posts since your last visit, it's possible that there are none to show." (it has always been that way, and it makes sense).
I just wanted to know if there is an option that would let you add that drop-down to the bottom of the page when there are no new posts, so the next to the newest posts could be viewed, or is it hard-coded in the forum software?
If it's hard-coded, could you request it from the forum devs?
Thanks,
Doug

I'm not sure if it can currently be added, but I'll put a ticket in with them and see what they say.
On a different note, I added a forum for the Wiki to discuss any issues going on with it. It's in the same grouping as the ELSI, this forum and other non-programming related forums.
