Very interesting indeed... But this is a long term stuff (years?), so we better make the best out of what we have now, than keeping hopes for the future...

But read the discussion on Slashdot. Many good points there... E.g. footprint... I am starting to be fed up with FF even on the desktop as well. 70MB mem. after a half day use is just bad... And on the laptop it is just swapping, swapping, swapping and things take ages then...
BTW, they mention there this MicroB (http://browser.garage.maemo.org/) (microbrowser). I tried to search on this forum and found only two posts mentioning it on OZ. Did somebody try to compile and test it on pdaXrom?
