Title: Free disk space applet
Post by: Hrw on March 13, 2004, 05:10:06 pm
Is there any \"disk free space\" applet for OZ?

I think that it would be usefull to have it added to cardmon applet so it will show something like:
Code: [Select]
SD: CARD_NAME 80 500KiB free

CF: CARD_NAME 40 901KiB free

Flash: 2 583KiB free

RAM: 20 853KiB free

What do you think about it?

Sounds good. Two questions though: 1.) Do we really need it to be an applet? Isn\'t the storage stuff in sysmon sufficient enough? 2.) Did you look at the new memoryapplet in Opie 1.1.x - IIRC it provides something similar.

1. I used PalmOS before Zaurus and had free memory and free storage space displayed on screen.
2. I have to check opie 1.1.x again - last time it forgots date/time every time after resume. (I don\'t know is it opie related so I didn\'t report it).

It\'s possible  to add another tab to the memory applet to display storage info as well... But then it\'ll soon become another sysinfo application
