Title: Create Cf2 Folder On Desktop
Post by: climber on December 06, 2007, 03:51:58 am
Hi,

I've the newest version of Meanies pdaXiiv2 on my SL-C3100 installed and using ROX. I bought a 4GB CF card and created two partitions.
The first one with fat16 and the other with ext3.

I did a new entry inside the /etc/fstab for '/dev/hda2  /mnt/cf2 ...'  for mounting.

How can I create a similar folder like cf or sd with the green circle as mount/unmount symbol on the desktop?

Thanks
climber

I can't find the folder where I have to set the symlink. Do you know where to set it?

Thanks

I found some useful informations on the manual side of ROX.
http://rox.sourceforge.net/Manual/Manual/Manual.html (http://rox.sourceforge.net/Manual/Manual/Manual.html)

---------------------------
ROX-Filer shows mount points (such as `/floppy') which are listed here but not mounted with transparent grey circles overlayed on their icons.
---------------------------

After that I created the folder /mnt/cf2  and do a further entry inside /etc/fstab "/dev/hda2  /mnt/cf2"
Drag and Drop the cf2 folder under ROX-Filer to desktop shows me the wished icon with the mount/unmount symbol!
