Title: Cursor Keypad Wrongly Orientated
Post by: speculatrix on January 15, 2008, 07:11:57 pm
the c3100's cursor pad was rotated 90 degrees (up/down act as left/right on the screen, but correct if the zaurus screen were ripped off and fitted portrait mode), so I installed the rotateview app, and then the cursor pad rotated as well as the screen, so that now right moves cursor up!

any quick fixes?

thanks!

yes,
we whould try this fix :

authoud says it is not perfect, but at least arrow keys should behave normally after it

I wonder if it's possible to run /system/bin/rotatefb somehow instead of the service call window 18 i32 1 command

that's great, maybe cortez could fix that in the replacement c3xxx image he's building for the next alpha?
(nudge, hint!)

The uploading of a new C3x00 version is delayed a bit, but I'll try to incorporate the key changes tonight.
I haven't been able to set the rotation to landscape on default so that's left to be fixed also.

excellent news, thanks; your rotate app is plenty good enough for now!
